Screening for COVID-19. Who, What, Where?

Screening for disease is a hot topic these days. With the development and response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) information is everything. With the complexity of this virus, , new information updates are important.

One of the common questions is who can screen for COVID-19 and where? It is unclear exactly where to find that answer, as it seems to change based also on specificity of cases and locations. We look to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the portion of their website at CDC.gov dedicated to answering questions about testing for the virus.

Within this site is an informational map which includes states and territories with one or more laboratories that have successfully verified and are currently using COVID-19 diagnostic tests. We look for this information to change rapidly.
